With Glasgow Tech Week well underway, it’s arguable headliner, Tech Fest, is being followed by an evening event that’s taking an experiential approach to the week’s themes.

The official ‘market square’ evening event for Glasgow Tech Week, TecTonic Night Summit is aiming to be a spirited celebration of digital innovation and community collaboration.

Taking place on the evening of 16 May at Barras Art and Design, the event seeks to blur the lines between a conference and a live community festivity, promising an ‘inclusive, energised, and vibrant showcase of Scotland’s digital business community and startup ecosystem.

The event will see exhibitors showcasing the latest digital experiences, interactive displays, business growth consultations, captivating keynotes, offbeat business sessions, live music, performers, and an inclusive startup pitch showcase.

Drawing a diverse crowd of 300-500 individuals from around the globe, including digital business leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, buyers, and innovators, TecTonic promises an enriching experience for all. Attendees of Glasgow Tech Fest earlier in the day can enjoy discounted entry by registering with their GTF badge.

TecTonic Curator, Nick Murray said: “TecTonic is a fresh approach to business ecosystem connectivity, inspired by Global events such as Slush and Web Summit, and compliments the Fringe approach Glasgow Tech Fest has taken this year.

“It’s a chance to bring together various sectors, organisations, students, Founders and investors in a collaborative, inclusive, and most of all, fun, environment.

We hope to work with other conferences and business events to break down any perceived silos or tribalism to fully showcase the truly connected nature of Scotland’s business community.“
